Overview

CommIT is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee all aspects of a technical contract consisting of multiple work efforts specific to new and emerging DevSecOps, cloud, and software technologies in Charleston, SC. This is a Hybrid role that requires a strong background in program management of complex projects and a thorough understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies. Experience with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) or similar programs is highly desirable. This position is also responsible for assisting in developing business development strategies and capture plans, preparing and presenting briefings to potential and current customers, and preparing technical and cost proposals.

Responsibilities

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-

 

  • Manage all elements of the task order, including cost, schedule, and performance reporting. Serve as the single point of contact for all matters involving task order performance.
  • Work closely with customers to help refine their needs and provide innovative solutions
  • Knowledge of government contracting actions and processes for Cost Plus, T&M, and FFP cost structures
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition category (ACAT) and US Navy (preferred) program development and execution
  • Leadership skills with technology programs involving numerous team members
  • Experience with cost, schedule, and performance determinations and management
  • Experience working with Contract Officers and Contract Office Representatives
  • Experience with developing and presenting brief of complex software programs
  • Ensure timely submission of all required reports, including Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reports, and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and financial health.
  • Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities associated with areas of responsibility and assist with proposal development.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business

  • Minimum 15 years of technical experience.

  • Experience must include at least eight (8) years of Program Management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
